Self-Reflection - July 2020

Taking intentional time each day to reflect and practice self-inquiry can feel unnecessary or self-indulgent, and even a little scary. As a community of givers we wake up each morning wanting to do the best we can for our own families, our colleagues, and for our families impacted by violence.

We strongly encourage each of you to take time each day to take a deep breath, pause your movement, slow down your thoughts and reflect.

Am I behaving / thinking / operating / feeling my truth?

Am I present to myself, before I can be present for others?

Am I really listening to what my body needs right now?

By taking time to create a practice of self inquiry, you will gain the gift of seeing yourself and others in new perspectives. This gift will lead to building greater resilience and happiness within ourselves that becomes contagious to those around us and plants early seeds for change in our organizations.
